Reykjavík Geothermal completes successful consulting project with BBA//Fjaldco Law Firm, Verkís Engineering and Iceland Geosurvey

In the end of 2018, Reykjavík Geothermal began a collaborative consulting project with the Icelandic companies BBA//Fjeldco law firm, Verkís Engineering and Iceland Geosurvey on a project based in Djibouti sponsored by the African Development Bank. 

The project comprised of the preparation of the legal, institutional and regulatory framework/arrangement for renewable energies in Djibouti, and the final report was completed and presented in December 2020. With the development of the new framework, Reykjavík Geothermal is looking forward to seeing the growth in Djibouti’s renewable energy industries in the coming years.
